We came up with the idea for a Music Appreciation Night about 6 years ago when Matt bought his new stereo. Everyone brings their favourite song (or two) and we sit and listen to them all and rate each song on various categories. Each person puts up $5 per song and there are prizes for first, second and last. The attendants, songs and categories have all changed over the years but one thing has remained the same: we have a ball every time!
Last night the categories were: Melody, Lyrics, Composition and Uniqueness.

The Winner songs' owners were: 1st - Matt, 2nd - Laurence. And I got last :(... And, no I didn't pick that song on purpose to get last prize, and in my defense, I was actually thinking of the Techno version of that song, I didn't have time to listen and pick a song! (see our Luna Park adventures for why). And honest, it wasnt rigged, we feel very bad for taking out first prize!
