Quack Quack

Jet's daycare is finishing this week, and they had a Christmas morning tea yesterday... The children are a bit young for a concert, so they just sat around and sang a few songs for us.

Also received my very first handmade present from Jet: a lovely handprint of his laminated (it's a Christmas decoration apparently), and a lovely painting by him. Ahhh so this is why we put up with the tantrums?

Also have just realised that the song he is always singing to himself is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", when I heard them sing it at daycare!

Phil & Kate are married!

We went to Phil & Kate's place for what we thought was a Christmas Party... which turned out to be a wedding!!!

The weather was gorgeous, as was the bride, the groom dashing(?!) and the food divine.

Winter Wonderland

Met my sister on Saturday at one of Jet's favourite places: Darling Harbour.

He discovered the joys and pains of the water ramps there...

He was fine, just a bit shocked... that's my sister telling me off for keeping the camera rolling... hehehe, what a nice mummy I am.

And this is at Star City, where the lobby has transformed into a beautiful Winter Wonderland.

(This is me, btw).

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree...

Okay, so I might be a tad more excited about the whole Christmas thing than our resident Grinch aka Matt or Jet who hasn't quite grasped the xcited whole Santa concept yet, but we had fun putting up the tree.

Shatter proof ornaments of course, but luckily, it's in a corner and Jet hasn't touched it at all this year - what a difference to last year, when our tree ended up with all the decorations on the top half!

Now for the pièce de résistance: the star!

And the final product...

And I couldn't help getting the Santa train, for the train buffs in the house...
